This may be everyoneβs favourite ice breaker game! If your party has friends who donβt necessarily know each other very well, Charades is a good game to play as your first one to kick off the party with an exciting vibe. First, prepare a bowl of folded papers on which you have written down words or topics you want your guests to play the game based on. Then, separate everyone into different teams.
One person from each team needs to be the actor to go to the front and he or she is not allowed to talk or make signals of any letters but only act out the word she picked out! Every time a team can guess the word, they will get 1 point. The first team who gets 30 points (you can decide the number of points the winning team needs to have). Wondering what kinds of words or topics would be good for Charades this Christmas? Check out the list below.

Another fun game you should consider for your Christmas party! Print out a picture of Rudolph that is the size of your face and stick it on the wall. Get a red circular red piece of paper (to be the nose) and remember to make sure each player must dip their nose into a spoon of Vaseline jelly (as a glue) first. After that, close their eyes with a blindfold, spin them in a circle, and the participant needs to pin the nose and stick it to the Rudolph’s. The individual with the most accurately pinned nose will be the winner!

3. Christmas Gift Exchange Game (the Unconventional Way)

Forget the old ways of doing gift exchange like Secret Santa and White Elephant! To add some excitement, read a story (below picture) very loudly while everyone stands together in a circle and each person holding the gift they prepared. Every time you say “RIGHT”, everyone should pass the gift to the person on the right and every time you say “LEFT”, everyone should pass the gift to the person on the left. When you say “ACROSS”, pass the gift to the person across from you. The gift that each person keeps at the end of the story is the gift they get for this Christmas. Make it different and create new memories for your friends and family!
