Indoor and Outdoor Sculptures
Gardens by the Bay has more than 200 sculptures that complement the flora displays and overall landscape of the place. These sculptures are created by renowned artists and built with innovative materials.
You can find a plethora of indoor and outdoor sculptures basically everywhere, such as in the Cloud Forest, Flower Dome, and Supertree Grove.
Sun Pavilion
Are you feeling cold and lonely this Christmas? Why not bask in the warm sunshine as you explore Sun Pavilion? Don’t worry; the only thing that may hurt you here are cacti. This outdoor-themed garden has a desert-like landscape consisting of around 100 species and varieties of desert plants.
Most of the cacti and euphorbias in the Sun Pavilion came from Africa, Madagascar, and the Americas. Sun Pavilion is open from 5:00 AM to 2:00 AM and is located near the Main Entrance Basement Park.
Supertree Grove
Your Garden by the Bay visit will not be complete without seeing the Supertree Grove. Rising up to 50 metres, these giant trees provide shade during the day and light and musical shows at night. Make sure to head over to the Observatory to get a bird’s eye view of Marina Bay.
Intricate vertical gardens displaying a diverse selection of flowers and plants are also housed on the Supertrees. The Supertree Grove is open from 5:00 AM to 2:00 AM.
Convenient Dining and Shopping during Christmas in Singapore 2022
From October 10, 2022, Vaccination-Differentiated Safe Management Measures (VDS) will no longer be applied when you dine and shop in Gardens by the Bay. This will make your Christmas visit more convenient and exciting! Check out some dining and shopping establishments we encourage you to visit:
Food Truck
Are you looking for a quick snack under the Supertree? Swing by Garden by the Bay’s food truck, which serves classic snacks like chicken wings, cakes, and ice creams. The Foody Truck also serves mains, side bites, and drinks.
The Foody Truck is only open during weekends and public holidays from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM. It is located at Supertree Grove.
Satay by the Bay
Satay by the Bay offers Singapore’s must-try local delights such as BBQ chicken wing, chilli crabs, and of course, satay.
The strategic location of the Satay by the Bay is the perfect place for savouring good food while enjoying the sea breeze. There are over ten food and beverage stalls that can serve you various dishes as you appreciate the views of the waterfront.
Satay by the Bay food stalls are open from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM, while the drink stall is open from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM. It is located at the waterfront, which is one of the quietest corners of the Gardens by the Bay.
Arrival Gift Shop
Don’t let your visit come to an end without getting some Gardens by the Bay merchandise. At the Arrival Gift Shop, you can find a wide range of plant collections that you can bring home. From colourful orchids to mini garden terrariums, this gift shop offers plant collections that make for a wonderful present.
The Arrival Gift Shop is open from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and is located at the Main Entrance. If you didn’t have the time to buy your souvenir, Gardens by the Bay has an eShop catalogue where you can order online.
