Venuerific launches The Virtual Wedding, a video live streaming solution that specialises in wedding and solemnisation events. The one-stop service provides three main services including on-site Camera crew, Switchboard operators and Virtual private guest rooms.
In a Post COVID-19 world, event planners are looking at hybrid events as the new future of events. With venues operating under certain capacity, the use of digital technology is imperative in ensuring equally interactive, engaging and memorable events. In Singapore, it is no different. Just this month, Marina Bay Sands announced its new hybrid broadcast studio, allowing event organisers to bring in ‘live’ speakers using holographic technology, opening new possibilities for conventions and large scale events. The excitement also lives on in private functions, including weddings. In May, we saw the Singapore Government passing the law to allow Virtual Marriage. In the same month, the first Virtual Wedding in the country was held, where a couple ditched their 300-guests wedding ceremony to have an intimate ceremony in front of a Virtual Castle.
The growing demands in Virtual weddings propelled the two co-founders, Ricardo Sentosa and Cynthia Kim to venture into this new solution. “Venuerific has been a leading player in producing content for event spaces since 2013. We are now embracing the new normal. With The Virtual Wedding, we create a way for couples to still celebrate their big day with family and friends overseas. The service also comes with professional and experienced crew at approachable price points. We want to make virtual events accessible to everyone and still be able to have the joy of celebrating during this time,” Ricardo explains about the company’s mission with The Virtual Wedding.
Packages
As a one-stop Virtual Wedding solution, the company will be providing three main services for the grooms and bride-to-bes. Firstly, professional camera crews will be capturing the ceremony on site during the wedding or solemnisation day. There will also be a Floor Manager to control the switchboard that organises the content flow during the event. In the top tier package, visitors can also join separate private virtual rooms. By doing so, they will be able to interact privately with their closest friends as the wedding ceremony progresses.
There are currently 3 packages available in The Virtual Wedding. Clients can also choose to add on additional services such as Voice-over Emcee, Additional Private Rooms, Music & Sound, as well as Live Emcee on top of the packages.
