Venuerific CEO & founder, Ricardo Sentosa, was awarded at the Spirit of Enterprise 2022 along with 44 other local business leaders for their outstanding achievements in the enterprise landscape last November 28. The event was held in the Grand Ballroom of The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore.
Joining him as awardees are Toby Koh, the Group Managing Director of ADEMCO SECURITY; Alan Chang, the Managing Director of OA International Holdings Pte Ltd; Jackson Lee the Managing Director of Creme Works; and Sean Tan, Founder & CEO of Insect Feed Technologies. Minister of State Low Yen Ling was also in attendance as the evening’s Guest-of-Honour.
Ricardo was accompanied by Venuerific Leads for Sales and Production, Jonathan Ewe and Surendran R. respectively.
For nearly a decade, the Spirit of Enterprise has been a non-profit and non-governmental charity organisation dedicated to cultivating the entrepreneurial spirit in Singapore. The organisation also hopes to inspire young Singaporeans to pursue roles in entrepreneurship.
Their work through the years has been to honour excellent home-grown entrepreneurs, executing programs for young beneficiaries, and fostering platforms where they can interact and learn from each other.
Founded in 2013, Venuerific was CEO Ricardo Sentosa’s “What If?” turned to reality. At the time, Ricardo was passionate about finding digital solutions for restaurants struggling with high manpower costs and rental rates. It did not take long for him and his co-founders to bear a solution. This was to create an online platform that connects venues with customers in a few clicks of a button.
After the arduous process of getting the start-up off the ground, Rica launched Venuerific as Singapore’s premier events venue marketplace. It eventually expanded to four more countries in South East Asia.
At the same time, CEO Ricardo Sentosa never abandoned his entrepreneurial spirit. He has since spearheaded ventures such as Aemorph, Play2Earn Expo Asia, and Play It Forward DAO. Ricardo also serves as a mentor, director, and ambassador for businesses such as Brinc.io, Leonie Hill AI, and the Asia Blockchain Association, respectively.
Today, Venuerific has grown further as a one-stop shop for all your event needs. The company is now a proud purveyor of digital solutions. It focuses on creating new ways to improve the market in venue and business management.
